Sharm El Sheikh is home to some fantastic local diving as well as some impressive shipwrecks, walls and reefs offering around 30 different sites to explore on day trips alone. The boats are large, comfortable and designed specifically for diving. Ras Mohammed National Park offers a number of exciting sites for those on day diving trips. One of Ras Mohammed’s most popular dive sites is Shark and Yolanda Reef, where divers can encounter schools of hammerhead sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and barracuda This site is also home to the remains of the Yolanda, a cargo ship that sank in 1980 and left behind a treasure trove of cargo, including toilets, bathtubs, and even BMWs!
The Strait of Tiran is often sought out also by divers and snorkelers .

The SSI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom) to understand basic principles of scuba diving ( No Exam )
- 3 x Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
- 2 x Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!
Minimum Age: 10 (for junior open water)
Course Duration: 2+ days (dependent upon student)
Other Requisites: Adequate swimming skills and general good health. No other prior experience needed.

Continuing Eductation Courses
The Advanced Open Water course is designed to improve your underwater knowledge and skills. This course will help you become a better diver and a safer diver. You will have five dives, two are mandatory (deep and navigation), the other three elective dive specialties are up to you and your instructor to decide.
Requisites: Open Water certification.
Duration: 2-3 days

Become an SSI Nitrox diver £185
As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals – so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen.
Upon completion, you will earn an SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification. This course is a Dry course.
